David Pierson, Owner and Master Craftsman

David Pierson has been a professional jeweler for 40 years.  A New Orleans native, David has designed favors and gifts for local Mardi Gras organizations as well as individuals. Fifteen years ago, he made the move across the Causeway from New Orleans to Covington, Louisiana to establish himself as a full service jeweler and jewelry designer.  David Pierson Designs provides customers with personalized service and quality jewelry. Estate, antique, contemporary, and custom earrings, bracelets, necklaces, pins, pendants, pearls, engagement rings, wedding rings, as well as sterling and precious stone gift items can be found in a gallery-like setting. As a master metalsmith, his original gold and sterling designs are characterized by rolled edges and unique clasps.  Local golfers recognize his sterling ball markers as part of his line of custom gifts for men, including gold and silver belt buckles. David has worked with organic materials such as bone, horn, and claws to produce jewelry unique to the individual.  Along with his continuous support of local non-profit organizations, David is proud to be associated with Magnificat, a woman-to-woman Catholic ministry, originating in New Orleans.

The 226 Lee Lane location supports the work of local artists as well, featuring the pottery of John Hodge, water colors of Karen Stakelum, silver designs of Ann O' Brien, beadwork of Cliff Morse, and art work of Ann Morvant.

Cliff Morse, Sales Manager and Jeweler

Cliff is a native of Covington.  While attending high school at St. Paul's, Cliff apprenticed for 2 years to David Pierson Designs in order to expand his art education. His bachelor's degree in art and design from LSU (2005) has an emphasis in jewelry and metalsmithing. Customers are assured of an attentive ear and an eye for design. Cliff is gaining popularity with his crystal and precious metal jewelry, visual art work, as well as his friendly, attentive service at David Pierson Designs.
